date night

(dress: vintage, shoes: target, hairclip: etsy, bag: gifted)

So, Scott & I have agreed to go out on a "date-night" every second Tuesday. We can get so tied up in work that at times it just feels like we are housemates rather than husband and wife. Last week it was my turn to choose somewhere to go for dinner. I searched the internet for a short while and found this cute little cafe/restaurant called Palm Breeze Cafe in Burwood. If you're local to the area, I do suggest you try it. The service was awesome and so was the food and prices. It cost us just under $100 for the both of us - we did splurge though - we had an entree each, our mains, desserts and drinks.

I was super excited to go out for dinner, not just because its just great getting out of the house, but also because I got to wear my new vintage dress out for the first time. I love it, and it was a total steal too! You can't really tell in the photos but the sleeves are wide and sheer... my favourite part about this dress is the ruffles around the neck... I love ruffles!

Next week, its up to Scott to decide where we will be going for "date-night".... I wonder where he'll take us!

  8. the dress and heels are so cute!

it's nice to have a date night - every tuesday my boyfriend and i clear our schedules to cook and eat dinner together. i'm trying to archive all the recipes we've tried, and it's been difficult, but we have a lot of fun - oftentimes we only spend time together on tuesdays, so it's definitely nice to have a tradition.
